MP for Abuakwa North stabbed to death
A rather sad news to start the day with! The Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North, J. B Danquah, has just been killed in his residence at Shiashie by unknown assailants.
The assailants went straight to his bedroom using a ladder, according to reports and he struggled with them when they tried stab him but was overpowered and stabbed to death.

JB Dankwa Adu was born on July 2, 1965 and was married with two children.
In 2010, he was deputy Minister for Women and Children’s Affairs under the erstwhile Kufuor administration, and won Abuakwa North seat in the Eastern Region in the December 2012 elections after defeating the National Democratic Congress’ Victor Smith.
He was a 19-member Special Budget Committee chaired by the Majority Leader.
